The TNAP area is the easternmost habitat of 5 Birds that are threatened with extinct on the island of Java, namely white Jalak (Acridotheres melanopterus) (IN), Worm sikatan (Cyornis Banyumas) (CR), CICA-DAUN JAVA (Chloropsis cochinchinensis) (IN), and big cica (Chloropsis sonnerati) (IN), Except Javanese Wren birds (LONCHURA OYZIVORA) (IN) The natural distribution reaches Bali.
Can Indonesia get financing support from UNESCO through the Young Scientist Award Man and Biosphere Program (Mab Ysa) year 2023 To be able to carry out research activities the latest conditions of five types of birds are endangered in the TNAP area and the bird market in Banyuwamgi Regency and Jember Regency. This activity aims to determine the distribution and population of five bird species threatened with extinction in the TNAP area and the population that are traded in the market around TNAP.

During the activity recorded 43 water bird species with total 13.245 Individual observed. Based on research results, available 2 beach bird species which number more than 1% from the EAAFP population (East Asia-Australia Flyways Partnership), namely the granting/Whimbrel (2,3%) and Trinil Beach/Common Sandpiper (1,1%). Joint Identification and Observation Training activities carried out at Untag and Cemara Beach were followed by 30 participant. Besides that, The introduction of coastal bird types is also carried out for students at 5 SD located around Pangpang Bay area. Total students who participated in this activity were more or less 100 student. The student is invited to get to know the type of coastal bird through card games and images.
